Couples Photography in Heidelberg

A couples session is guided: we pick a place together, and I give you small prompts so the photos come together naturally. Bring Me on Your Date is the documentary version — you plan something you’d actually do, like coffee at home, a walk along the Neckar or a record on, and I come along and photograph it as it happens. If you’d like more direction, choose a couples session; if you’d like to forget I’m there, bring me on your date.

We plan everything beforehand over WhatsApp: the spot, the time, and a small signal so I know the moment is coming. On the day I’m there before you, looking like anyone else with a camera, and I stay out of sight until you ask the question. Afterwards you can add 30 minutes or an hour of portraits together, while you’re both still glowing.

Yes. If you book an Essential or Classic session first, its full cost comes off your Half Day or Full Day wedding package. It’s also the best way to get to know each other before the big day — so that on the day, I’m not a stranger with a camera.

Yes — vouchers are available for any session, which makes a lovely anniversary, Valentine’s or wedding gift. You’ll receive a printable voucher, and the couple books their date whenever suits them. Vouchers are valid for 1 year.

Clothes you both feel like yourselves in. You don’t need to match — it’s better if your outfits simply sit well together, in similar tones and without big logos or busy patterns. Bring a second top or jacket if you like, whatever the package. Happy to look at a few options beforehand if you’re unsure.

Absolutely — some of my favourite sessions happen on a sofa or in a kitchen. If you’d rather be outside, tell me what you like: the old town, the river, forest, vineyards. I’ll suggest a few places around Heidelberg and the Rhein-Neckar region that suit you and the season.

Your dog is very welcome — they’re part of the story. If you’d like the whole family in the photos, that works too; tell me who’s coming so I can plan the time.

We decide together the day before. If the weather’s really bad, we move the shoot at no cost — or move it indoors. If you need to reschedule for another reason, let me know at least 3 days ahead and we’ll find a new date free of charge.

You’re free to use them for anything personal: save-the-dates, wedding invitations, a photo book, social media, or the family group chat.

Only if you want them to — and you decide the details. After the shoot you can fill in a short release where you choose which photos I may show and where: my website, Instagram, both, or neither. Saying no changes nothing about your price or your gallery, and if you change your mind later, I’ll take them down.
