About

A note before we start.

I photograph people the way I’d want to be photographed. Slowly, closely, paying attention to the small things that make you you. The book you can’t shut up about. The way you and your partner stand when no one’s watching.

So if a part of you is already dreading the camera, that’s okay. Most people are, and it’s my job to handle that, not yours. You don’t have to arrive knowing what to do with your hands, or match outfits, or borrow a look from someone else’s Pinterest board. I’ll guide you where it helps. Mostly you just have to show up as you are.

By the end, most people forget the camera’s even there. That’s usually when the real photos happen.

Hi, I’m Justine

An American photographer who landed in Heidelberg in 2018 and never quite left. My sessions are unhurried — I’ll guide you enough that you never feel lost, then step back so the real moments can happen.

Whether it’s two people in love, someone who’s never liked a photo of themselves, or a small business that means it — I’m here for the chapters worth keeping.
