Wedding Photography in Heidelberg

Saturdays from May to September usually go six to twelve months ahead; weekdays are much easier, and a few weeks’ notice is often enough. If your date still depends on the registry office, a venue or your officiant, get in touch anyway — tell me the window you’re aiming for and I’ll pencil it in. Your date is firmly held once the deposit is paid; if someone else asks for the same day before then, I’ll check with you first.

Of course. Most couples find it easiest to plan everything by message — you can reply whenever suits you, and we can both look things up later. But if you’d like to get to know me first, we can meet for a coffee or have a short video call. And if you’d like a proper chance to see how we work together, a couples session before the wedding is the best way — its cost comes off your Half Day or Full Day package.

The deposit holds your date and counts toward the total; the rest is due before the wedding. If you need to move your date, I’ll transfer the deposit to a new date, subject to availability. If you cancel, you only pay for costs already incurred (planning meetings, location scouting, etc., and for short-notice cancellation expenses). The full terms are in the agreement you sign in my booking portal, so you can read everything before paying a cent.

How long your day runs matters more than how many people are there. Ceremony and a few portraits: Just the Ceremony. Ceremony, portraits and the drinks reception: The Half Day. Getting ready through to the evening: The Full Day. Send me your rough timeline and I’ll tell you which one I’d book — even if it’s the smaller one.

That’s exactly the kind of wedding I love most. With no guests to organise, we have time to go somewhere that means something to you — a vineyard above the Bergstraße, a quiet bend of the Neckar, the hill where you first said I love you. If you haven’t chosen a place yet, I’m happy to suggest a few that suit the time of year and the light.

Yes, and it’s a common combination here. Book the wedding package for your celebration, and add the registry ceremony for €300 if it falls on a weekday. You get both days photographed, two galleries, and we only plan once. Just tell me both dates when you get in touch.

Almost everyone tells me this. For most of the day I’m simply there, and you won’t be asked to do anything. For the few portraits we planned, I give small prompts — walk over there, tell each other something — rather than poses to hold. If you’d like to get the nerves out of the way beforehand, a couples session helps, and its cost comes off your wedding package.

We take photos anyway. Overcast light is kinder than midday sun, and wet cobblestones look beautiful. When I visit your location beforehand, I look for covered spots — an archway, a doorway, a colonnade — so there’s always somewhere to go.

Please do. We’ll go through it together before the day, and I’ll ask you to name one person — a sibling or a friend — who knows the families and can gather everyone. That way the group shots take minutes, not half the reception.

Five preview images reach you within 48 hours. The full gallery follows in three to five weeks, depending on your package, or within seven days with express delivery (+€250). You can download, print, share and frame your photos however you like for private use.

Only if you want them to — and you decide the details. After the shoot you can fill in a short release where you choose which photos I may show and where: my website, Instagram, both, or neither. I explicitly request consent from anyone in the pictures to share. Saying no changes nothing about your price or your gallery, and if you change your mind later, I’ll take them down.
