A note before we start.

You probably found me because you need photos — and a small part of you is already dreading it. Most people are.

Here’s the thing: that’s my job, not yours. You don’t have to perform, or match outfits, or borrow a pose from someone else’s Pinterest board. You just have to show up as you are.

I photograph people the way I’d want to be photographed — slowly, closely, paying attention to the small things that make you you. The book you can’t shut up about. The way you and your partner stand when no one’s watching.

By the end, most people forget the camera’s even there. That’s usually when the real photos happen.
